Let’s familiarize ourselves with the stem cell

Abstract

The hope of using stem cells as curative methods for disease which has begun in 1960s, still exists today. The ability of differentiation of stem cells to differentiated cells under appropriate stimulus is attractive for science societies. Pluripotent and multipotent stem cells generate progenitor cells which then will differentiate to different cell lines. Types and properties of stem cells will be discussed in this document.
